ZISU has two campuses: one in Downtown Hangzhou near West Lake, the other at Xiaoheshan near Xixi National Wetland Park. Each campus has a library, a sports center and sports ground, an auditorium, dining halls and well-furnished student dorms. There are altogether 23 laboratories of various kinds in ZISU. Its well-known journals and periodicals include Journal of ZISU, Teaching Monthly, Writing in a New Perspective, and Children’s World.

Libraries

The two libraries have a total collection of 780,000 books, 480,000 electronic books, 1161 periodicals in Chinese and other languages. The downtown campus library features special collections of foreign original books, traditional Chinese classics,and donated books. It also offers access to CNKI, CEI, EBSCO, Springer, etc., which provide 495,600 categories of electronic books (175,600 are foreign original e-books).The homepage of the library, available 24 hours a day, offers readers such services as catalog inquiries, electronic document browsing inquiries, briefing of latest books, and recommendation of new books. Xiaoheshan campus library is now a temporary one. The building of a new library with a construction area of over 20,000 square meters has been put on the agenda.

Sports Center

There is a gymnasium,a fitness training hall, a table-tennis training hall, and a physical health testing center at ZISU. Students can go there and enjoy free instruction from their coaches and teachers.
